Musical
The aim of this program is to provide performing artists in the fields of acting, singing and dance with a practice-oriented and scientifically based professional training up to stage maturity. In addition, the opportunity is to be offered to develop expertise in the field of musical theater production (directing, dramaturgy, choreography, composition and book, etc.). This should enable graduates to cope with the diverse demands of the music theater business, both nationally and internationally. To this end, they will possess practice-oriented and social skills that are essential for ensemble work, as well as communicative and organizational skills.

Conservatory with public status
Along with the MUK (Bachelor) and the SUNRISESTUDIOS Conservatory (Diploma), we are one of only three educational institutions in Austria with a legally recognized musical degree with self-issued certificates. In addition, you have the opportunity to earn a Master of Arts in Music or Music Education at our partner university JAM MUSIC LAB.
Interdisciplinarity
Through our numerous instrumental courses, we can offer you interdisciplinary work and joint projects. You will also have many music theory subjects together with the music students and you can also take some subjects from other study programs in the form of elective modules.
Studying in the heart of Vienna
The location of the Musical department is directly on Mariahilfer Straße, right next to the U3 station Neubaugasse. You study right in the center, close to many theaters, pubs, venues and leisure activities.
